1) How my garden grows. I have a rose. When I bought the rosebush it had about six roses on it. Now I have one rose. I feel as though this rosebush thing is moving in the wrong direction.
2) The other night I carefully laid out my wind-up flashlight, cell phone and robe next to the bed in case there was a tornado siren during the storms we were having. I call that emergency preparedness. My husband, however, called it neurotic.
