I’ve never really had a reason to use school-themed fonts before but now that Scarlette has started preschool, we’ve started back on our “Preschool At Home.” I like to call it Scarlette School on account of how I’m all about alliteration. See what I did there?
Her school actually does a little faith-based curriculum, which they share with the parents so that we can supplement it at home. Anyhow, I’ve been making some printables to help us with things like our Morning Routine Chart and Learning To Trace Our Letters and Because The Baby Jesus Said So. Just kidding. Sort of. (I get asked “BUT WHY?!” a WHOLE lot, y’all.)
Anyhow, there are a ton of free back to school fonts out there on the interwebs but I’m a big fan of quality over quantity. So is my hard drive. These are the ones that I like the best and have been using for making our own flash cards and charts. You can click on each of the names above to download each font.
You can click on any of the font names below the photo to be taken to its download page. Enjoy! Also, here is a tutorial on how to install fonts + more collections of my favorite free fonts here, here, here , here and here.
(I found most of these on dafont.com and fontspace.com -if you are the creator of any of the fonts above and would prefer me to link directly to your website, please just shoot me and email and let me know!)
