On Monday morning we took breakfast up to the NICU and visited with Scarlette’s doctors and nurses. She has stranger anxiety with a lot of people right now but she went straight to her doctor, which completely warmed my heart.
Jeff called me the other day to tell me he was thinking about me. “What made you think about me?” I asked. “Vanilla Ice just came on the radio” he replied. I told y’all I was gangsta.
I am crazy about old school Christmas television specials. Remember me telling y’all that my husband has never seen any of them? Not a single claymation Christmas movie. I refuse to let such a tragedy befall my daughter and thus last night I ordered this for Scarlette. And by Scarlette, I totally mean myself.
I am not above dressing my baby in clothes to match my tablecloth and then staging a photoshoot whereupon I hit myself in the head with a balloon repeatedly until she kind of smiles at me. ‘Cause my style’s like a chemical spill. That doesn’t even make any sense.
