I’m linking up in the 2011 Christmas Tour Of Homes with The Nester and Kelly’s Korner today. I had hoped to get more photos but the wee one was following me around yelling at me in a way that I interpreted to mean “STOP TAKING PICTURES OF CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS AND HOLD ME RIGHT THIS INSTANT WOMAN!” and so I obliged. Plus, her tendency to destroy things in zero point four seconds means that we have substantially less decorations on display this year. I’ve made up for the the lack of photos by decorating my baby and sticking her in one. You’re welcome.
Our Christmas tree is decorated with ornaments from our wedding. My favorite ornament on the tree is one that was tied to my bouquet as I walked down the aisle. We were married three days before Christmas because have I mentioned that I LOVE CHRISTMAS? I love Christmas. And so I keep our holiday decorating “theme” in our wedding colors (which were brown, gold and ivory.) This way our house is always reminiscent of our wedding when our anniversary rolls around. Although at our wedding we had NINE elaborately decorated Christmas trees and Jeff has made me stick to just two in our house.
