I don't have seasonal allergies myself, I just have the unfortunate circumstance of being allergic to citrus products which means that I can basically never enjoy a good mixed beverage. My sister, however, is allergic to pretty much everything. Like, when they did that little prick test on her back when we were kids we found out that she was allergic to trees. Which is sort of a problem because have you ever looked outside? Outside is basically just all trees. Unless you're in the desert, maybe. I don't think there are a lot of trees in the desert. Probably she should move to Arizona.
Also, she is allergic to dust. This is why she doesn't come to my house often, on account of how I am allergic to the act of dusting. Or lazy. Whichever.
ZYRTEC sent me this Allergy Face video to share and it made me think of my sister and how she started using concealer when she was ten because her under-eye area was so dark that she looked like she had black-eyes. (Actually, Scarlette has the same darkness that her pedi thinks is allergy related so we may be dosing up here soon. I am totally dreading having the allergy testing done though.)
I thought the tip in the video about adding aloe vera to your moisturizer was interesting. Mostly because my husband is obsessed with Aloe Vera right now. Apparently it's some sort of new health food craze or something and you can buy Aloe Vera drinks and such. He is using it for his excema so we have a bottle in the fridge that I might dip into. I don't have allergies but I do have dark undereye circles thanks to this little thing I like to call "my two year old." Literally.
They also sent over this funny infographic (well, it's funny to me. I am not sure if it is intentionally funny of not) and I know that I am guilty of keeping makeup for far too long but I was surprised that it said 2-3 months on mascara! Does anyone else keep theirs for such a short amount of time?
