I am currently enamored with the new Jennifer Knapp CD. Specifically the lyrics that inspired this layout. The song is written as though the Lord is speaking it to us and I think it is beautiful.
"Lay down, have your dreams, I'll work quietly. Put all my labor to love and you'll wake up feeling enough. You will want for nothing, know the truth I will be here waiting for you."
I love the idea of the Lord working over us, putting all things together for our good while we rest.
Jenni Bowlin sent me the new collection to play with and I used the rest of the lyrics to make this page. And some others but they'll be up on her site soon so I can't share those just yet. They are lots better. This is my Jenni Bowlin reject page. Because I meant for it to look like the butterfly was spreading glimmer everywhere. But it kind of looks like the butterfly got massacred and is now in the middle of a butterfly crime scene. I made a scrapbook page that looks like a butterfly is a bleeding y'all. Word to your mother.
In successful scrapbooking news, I can share that I have a tutorial up at Pink Paislee today on how to photograph your scrapbook layouts, so check that out if you were looking for tips! Happy weekend!
