1) I hate the radio station that my alarm clocks plays every morning, but every night I forget to change it to a station that plays music I actually like.
2) Some of you asked about the piece of furniture in this post. Yes, it is the liatorp sideboard from IKEA. I just had Jeff drill new holes in the drawer to put in a pull that matches our china cabinet hardware.
3) Yes, I was continuously looking over my shoulder towards the pantry in the video. I’ll probably obsessively scan the kitchen now for the next however long we live in this house. We’ve not seen any critters for nearly 24 hours now. After tonight, however, we’ll be the proud new owners of many airlock containers, the same kind that I used to make fun of my mother for using.
4) My mother would put cereal in those containers and then when the level of cereal dropped to about 1/4, she would pour in new cereal. But never the same cereal. So we would have this container that was about 3/4 Frosted Flakes sitting on top of 1/4 of Fruity Pebbles. It made no sense. And it was disconcerting to see a Lucky Charm or two floating around in your Cocoa Puffs. I’d almost successfully blocked this from my memory but my childhood friend Shawn reminded me of it recently. Perhaps this is why I’ve been subconsciously avoiding the containers.
5) Someone remind me to pick up some pink balloons today. I’d write it on my hand but I need to go take a shower.
