My friend Elise is getting married this week and every bride should be (virtual) showered with love! Here is my 3.5 years of wisdom for her:
The wedding: nothing in my life has felt as sacred as the moment that I walked down the aisle towards my groom, not because I was a bride but because of the overwhelming peace I had knowing that this man was the one I would trust to hold my heart. I know that our wedding was beautiful because I've seen the pictures and I know that things went wrong because people told me but the only thing I remember vividly from that day is the way I felt when I saw him waiting for me.
I wish the very same for you, that your wedding day is overflowing with the depth of your love for one another in such a way that it continues on all the days ever after.
After the wedding: make sure all of the roses are off the honeymoon suite bed. Or buy thornless roses.
