Several of you were so sweet to message me about my layout in this month's Creating Keepsakes! Thanks so much for letting me know, I wasn't expecting to see it in the magazine so soon!
I was at work today when my brother in law called and said "I'm looking at this Creating Keepsakes magazine and you and Jeff are in it!" I told Jeff that story and he was like "what's my brother doing reading Creating Keepsakes?" as though he doesn't sit and look at my magazine with me and point out layouts he likes.
(If you are one of my husband's guys friends, he TOTALLY doesn't do that ever. He also never gives me suggestions on things he thinks would make my pages better. And he totally can't recognize manufacturers by glancing at patterned papers from that time he worked with me at the scrapbook company. Not at all.)
I was completely narcissistic and asked Jason to send me a photo because I hadn't seen it yet. I created this page as part of our guest book for our wedding and so it was extra special to me for it to be featured in the magazine. Plus, I'd hadn't submitted any pages since 2008, so for this one to be picked up meant even more. Although I've been so busy opening Little Light Studio that I haven't submitted since so this may be the only time you see me in print this year.
