I really WANT to be that person who sends lovely handwritten cards in the mail but y'all I am going to be honest here: I am just the WORST at mail. Seriously, I have the best intentions but terrible follow through.

But what I really thought was cool was the new iPad app where you can have your child draw a picture and then it creates an eCard out of it to send to family and friends. If I had an iPad, I would be using that app ALL OF THE TIME. I know Scarlette's grandparents would love it. Stellar idea, American Greetings!
And another thing that I love? You can attach a gift card to any American Greetings eCard. That kind of seals the deal for me, a one stop shopping trip. And it's great for birthdays for friends who are far away and you don't remember it's their Birthday until Facebook reminds you (not that that EVER happens to me, friends.)
Oh, and video eCards! They are also included in the membership and in the 7 Day Free Trial Membership. Definitely try out the Hamster Love video. I just sent that to my BFF.
My only con? I think they definitely could use an update in their humor section, my sarcastic sense of humor didn't find anything particularly funny in the section labeled "funny" so I would love to see a better selection there.
Membership pricing is $3.99 per month or $19.99 yearly or $29.99 for a two year membership. Given that a storebought card can run around $3.99 per card, that definitely pays for itself if you love sending cards.
