So some sweet little girl you know is featured on the OshKosh B’Gosh website today.
OshKosh B’Gosh asked us to join their new Forever Summer series with sun-kissed pictures and summertime stories. Summertime here in the south means sweet tea and sprigs of mint leaves for mommy, sidewalk chalk and skinned knees for Scarlette. And the ice cream truck. Obviously.
When OshKosh B’Gosh asked if I was interested in working with them I was all “B’GOSH!” because they are one of my go-to brands for children’s clothing. I judge everything by whether or not it will stand up to my toddler’s crazy antics and still fare well at the consignment sale that most of my daughter’s clothes are destined for.
I keep a few sentimental pieces from each season but for the most part kid’s clothing gets turned over pretty frequently in this house so I try to only purchase things that are classic, well-made and a good value, like this little outfit which is perfect for Memorial Day Weekend cookouts and Fourth Of July fireworks shows.

Also, a friend of mine from high school makes those little velcro t-shirt tie ups that I use on most of Scarlette’s t-shirts because she is so tiny that short sleeves tend to be really long on her.)
So then OshKosh B’Gosh sent us a GoPro camera and asked us to make a video of what summertime looks like for us from our toddler’s point of view. I kind of love Scarlette’s Point Of View on most things so I thought that might be a fun take on things.
Honestly, I would have never thought to strap a GoPro to my three year old but y’all, if you have one should totally do it. It was so much fun.
The only slight drawback is that now anytime we go to the park Scarlette starts going “WAIT MOMMY WAIT! I NEEDA WEAR MY CAMWA ON ME!” And sometimes other parents at the playground looks at you funny if you pull a tiny video camera out of your diaper bag and strap it onto your toddler. I mean, not that I know this from experience or anything. But it’s probably best to find some unoccupied section of the local park is what I am saying.
