Thanks for your sweet words on my writing. I shared about the rejection letter because I think it's easy to tell you about exciting things, like making a design team but not so easy to say "hey these women I admire didn't want my writing." And I think it's important to say those things as well, not for my own affirmation but to affirm others. Because we've all been rejected, right?
(And if you haven't don't tell me. Because I was the girl in middle school that got put in a locker. By the boy she liked. It was awesome. Not.)
(Well okay, it was awesome later when he asked me out in high school and I was all "Remember that time you put me in a locker? That killed your chance at prom. But enjoy your bus ride home.")
(Okay fine, that's not totally true. I eventually went on a date with him anyhow. I used to be really desperate when it came to dating.)
Anyhow, I made the blog title image because I put that little friend connect box on here -> and I'd love it if you became my blog friend! I have no idea what it's from. It's some tv show, right? I can't for the life of me think of what it is. Help me out here.
Speaking of TV shows, I was chatting on 20 Something Bloggers about favorite tv shows of 80's babies. I was a huge JEM fan. I think I've posted this photo before but it cracks me up. I was four. Look at my hair.
Where are my fellow 20-somethings? What were your favorite shows? Did you also asked to be referred to as Topanga, wear long skirts with hiking boots and grow your hair down to your waist? Or was that just me?
