I am currently looking up affordable tickets for Celtic Woman. Last night Jeff and I were watching them on PBS and I had just persuaded him to take me to the Atlanta concert when the PBS people told us that the tickets they were selling were almost $400. Needless to say, Jeff balked at that.
While they were interviewing the singers on the special, I mentioned to Jeff that they probably hated having to do interviews in English.
"Why would they not like that?" he asked
"Because they are from Ireland. It's probably tough for them to do interviews in another language."
"But they speak English. That's their language." he said
"No they don't. They speak Irish."
"No they don't, he insisted, they speak English."
"Jeff, if they speak English then why do they have accents?" I demanded
That's when Jeff looked at me and said "WHO DID I MARRY?"
