Never re-use your moving boxes. We thought it would be a really good idea to save all of the boxes from our first move in case we moved again. It was not.
I'm currently staring at a cardboard box that says "FRAGILE! KITCHEN PLATES" on one side and on the other "JEFF'S DVDS." I have no idea which label is from the current move and which is from the previous move.
This is why I inadvertantly unwrapped all of our Christmas decoration while searching for our printer. It's also probably the reason that we found all of Jeff's old baseball cards in a box labled "BED LINENS" and went to sleep without any pillows last night.
It's also a good idea not to let my husband label any boxes, because all the boxes that bear his handwriting just read "STORAGE" and so those boxes? I have no idea what is in those boxes. Probably our pillows.
