If you follow my other blog, I've been telling the story of Jeff and I buying our first home. It's been nearly a year long journey full of absolute insanity. I can not confirm whether or not said insanity is a 5 foot tall 26 year old girl.
Overall though, the story really became less about us buying a home and more about us growing in faith. And that's why I've chosen to tell it here, on the portion of my website where I write about what God is teaching me in this season of my life as a new wife. Several of you have asked to know more about the house so I wanted to invite you to read it there as it is posted, if you like.
In other house related news, I'd really love your opinions on couches. Specifically on leather versus fabric.
The couch is our splurge item. We've been saving for it for what seems like forever, so I want to make sure that what we buy is comfortable, durable and low maintenance. And by "durable" I mean "Which couch will stand up under my husband and his friends jumping up on it to yell at the football game?"
