This is a for-(meager)profit blog. That pretty much means that the ads on this blog? They make a little money.
I love writing and I am happy to host approved ads here in order to pay for the webspace and contribute to our family’s finances.
There’s a lot of debate on the internet about blog advertising. My personal outlook is that Jeff and I live very frugally in order for me to stay home and care for our daughter’s medical needs. While this blog used to provide a little extra so that Jeff and I could enjoy a random date night, now it literally buys our groceries/baby supplies and for that I am thankful and humbly grateful.
This aside on blogs with ads is a good representation of my outlook.
I will not: sell editorial space, write paid reviews, or allow pop-up ads on my main blog, so please be assured that anything I’ve written is simply my own thoughts that no one is paying me for. The only ads that appear are in the ad space at the top right of the page and in the box on the left.
