I have great news: We are in contract on a house! Soon I'll type out the long story that accompanies this news but until then, I am perusing home decor blogs and randomly breaking into celebratory dance. Since I know y'all don't want to see my dancing skills (trust me on this, you really don't) I am going to show you some cute decorating stuff instead.
That first photo is an inspiration board I made at mydeco.com. I found the site through my friend Nikki's blog (she has great style) and it is really the best thing I've seen since Domino magazine folded. That inspiration board is for my studio space. My husband would flip out if I decorated the entire house that girly. I know this because this morning he suggested that we go with an entirely black and white theme in the living room. Which is totally the same as the soft, romantic, tone-on-tone inspiration board I made, right?
I want to wallpaper a room with old dictionary pages too, but I'm not sure how Jeff will feel about that. Correction: I'm pretty sure I know how Jeff will feel about that, I'm just in denial.
And then I stumbled upon the Bliss catalogue and I want to live in it's pages. Mostly because I can't afford to actually buy any of it.
