Lexy asked for instructions on my wedding programs so I decided to put the tutorial here. They were really simple and inexpensive to make and would have been completely stress free if I hadn't left them til the morning of the wedding. Note to brides: don't make your programs the morning of the wedding.
(Click to see the instructions after the jump)
1) The cover. I liked the stickers I saw somewhere online but they cost your first born child for a pack of eight. So I designed something similar in photoshop and then printed it on Avery sticker paper. I made 100 for about $5 that way. Then I just put the sticker on the book.
2) The cover page was a picture of Jeff and I printed on vellum. I totally used vellum in my wedding programs and it looked classy y'all.
3) The inner pages. I used a template from Cranes Fine Stationarythen wrote in my own stuff in these fonts. In the front pocket I put a CD that Jeff and I made.
4) The back page had our wedding logo (I was one of those brides…) and then there was a pocket in the back where I tucked a note from Jeff and I to our guests thanking them for attending and telling them we had made a donation in their honor to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
5) The binding: I used a cropodile to punch holes in the spine of the little book and tied the pages in with ribbon
6) The books: I ordered these little paperboard books here. They were inexpensive and I didn't have time to make books by hand what with the whole "made the programs the day of" thing They were meant to be for CD's but I went used this tutorialto make them prgrams.
And as always, all awesome wedding photos by Shannon Wright.
