We are so excited that Scarlette is finally big enough to fit in a Bumbo seat! The thing is, her social development is right on par with her actual age of 9 months. But in a physical development sense, she’s behind her adjusted age.
This makes her incredibly frustrated because she wants to PLAY with her toys but she can’t sit up to get to them. She’s used to be satisfied being propped up in the Boppy and playing with little toys like her rattles but now she’s too big for those. AND she likes to flip her self sideways out of the Boppy and slide along the floor. It’s great fun for her.
She would lay on the floor to try to play her little piano and after a few minutes she would start crying in frustration because she couldn’t reach it well. And even holding her to play frustrated her.
So to be able to sit her up and have her reach her toys? She is SO HAPPY. I could kiss the person that invented it, except that they priced the whole set all crazy expensive so they’ll just have to settle for a hug.
Annnnnddddd….OH MY GOSH MY BABY GIRL IS SO STINKING CUTE.
Sorry y’all, I can’t help myself. Resume looking at my gorgeous baby.
(Don’t look too closely though, I’m not one of those bloggers that thinks about things like mopping their floors before photo ops…or ever :/ )
