We had to wait until the orthopedist said that Scarlette’s legs were healed to try out the doorway jumper. Then we had to wait for the physical therapist to give the okay. And y’all, I’ve been dying to put her in it because I thought she’d love it so much.
For days she simply spun in circles, looking at us like “This? This is not fun for me. Kindly remove me and return me to my proper playthings.”
And then all of the sudden yesterday, she figured out how to jump.
She squealed for half an hour.
Jeff and I were late leaving the house because we were too busy jumping and exclaiming over her genius. I was singing the above song to her while we jumped until I realized the lyrics were quite inappropriate. So I switched to Vanilla Ice. Word to your mother.
