* The weather here has been beautiful and so I said I wanted to make sun tea. Jeff was all "What in the heckfire is sun tea?" and I was like "how long have we been married?" Seriously, I don't know how he considers himself a true southerner. So for those of you who don't know how to make sun tea, here you go:
Get a cute pitcher (I got that one for $5 at Target) and then add tea bags and water. Stick the pitcher in the sun for approximately four hours or until you remember that you forgot to let the dog in and spy it sitting on the corner of the porch at six pm. Whatevs. Stir in enough sugar so that it's probably healthier to just suck down eighteen packets of pixie sticks. Drink of delicious goodness.
Seriously, I have no idea why sun tea is so much better than regular tea but it is. And if you happen to grow mint and can pop in a sprig of that, even better. And if you have a veranda you can sip it on? EVEN BETTER.
* My self control is severely tested at 3am when QVC offers me two for the price of one. Nevermind that I don't need a popcorn throw blanket that actually looks like popcorn. Okay, no one needs that. But at three in the morning I am all TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!
* Bulb syringes are my nemesis.
