This is a typical scenario in my house. Because people are always telling you that you shouldn’t use the same password for every website but I don’t have enough room in my head to store all of those passwords + all of the other important information in my life, like how many calories are in a slice of Scarlette’s sweet potato french toast or the names of all the characters in the Baby Sitter’s Club books. I have my priorities.
I asked to do this review because I was hoping that using Norton Identity Safe would change my life. Or at least seriously streamline my couponing efforts. Norton Identity Safe stores all of your passwords in a “vault” behind a master password. You can open and close the vault at will on your toolbar. And you can set higher security for some sites than others- so you can choose for it to autofill your email login for you OR you can choose to have to input your vault password before you it autofills your bank password. It keeps all of your frequently visited sites in one place but it’s really nice for those sites you DON’T visit often.
Like how I need a login for the millions of brand sites I visit to download coupons from.
I didn’t test out the feature that stores credit card info, etc. simply because we don’t do online banking. But my favorite part of the software is the NOTES feature. If I visit a site, I can click on “NOTE” and write a little bit about the site. This is great because sometimes I save things to my bookmarks but can’t remember why. So I can glance at the notes section and remember what it was I saved it for. I don’t want to use Pinterest for everything- like my couponing sites so this is a nice alternative.

That’s right, I spend my free time scouring the web for ways to trick my child into eating. And also window-shopping at Anthropologie. And sometimes reading celebrity gossip blogs but don’t tell my husband that.
*ETA 7/23* I’ve been using this software for about a month now and I really, really love it. I only have to remember one master password and then it remembers all of the other passwords for me and puts them in after I’ve typed in my master password. It is fan-flippin’-tastic for me.
