This is Lucy Dog. Jeff rescued her eleven years ago when she was two years old. And if you think we love her, you should see Scarlette with her. Those two are as thick as thieves.
One of the cutest things that happens in our house is hearing Scarlette call Lucy inside by standing on the porch steps and yelling “LUCY! TREAT TREAT!”
Except that is sounds more like “SHUSHIE! TWEAT TWEAT!” on account of how Scarlette has a bit of a lisp.
We haven’t actually tried the FREE Iams Shakeables dog treats yet but I’m pretty sure that they would be a big hit in our house. For Lucy Dog because, well, HELLO DOGGIE TREATS. And for Scarlette because she loves giving Lucy her treats when we are rewarding her for good behavor. Or when we just want to spoil her. Which is kind of often because LOOK HOW CUTE OUR DOG IS. She is so cute. Am I right or am I right? (Answer: I am right.)
And I give Lucy Dog treats because she is so sweet to Scarlette. And very protective, she will stand between her and anyone that comes over for awhile and I am thankful that her reaction to the baby has been such a loving one.
