I think it’s a pretty well known fact around here that I love Vera Bradley. I remember being adamant in college that I was NOT going to be one of those southern girls who carried a Vera Bradley bag. (It’s possible that I was bit ridiculous back then.)

All of the women in my then-boyfriend’s family carried Vera bags and so I was gifted one. And then I was all “WHAT WAS I THINKING, CARRYING OTHER BAGS ALL THIS TIME? VERA BRADLEY IS THE MOST PERFECT BAG EVER.” It totally was because it held all my super heavy textbooks but was still comfortable to carry and I could throw it in the wash when I inevitably spilled Starbucks on it.
I traded in the boyfriend for my now husband and the textbooks for diapers but my love for Vera Bradley remains unwavering. Now it’s a diaper bag stuffed full of sippy cups and I throw it in the wash when I inevitably spill one of those in it but I love it just the same.
I still have the first bag I was given almost 8 years ago because those things hold up, y’all. I don’t collect any one pattern, I just mix and match the pieces I like best.
So when I saw that Vera Bradley was running a beach promotion and had marked all of their beach gear 50% off, I emailed them and was all “Hi, you don’t know me but I am a big fangirl and would you like to run a giveaway for my readers?”
They said yes and I was like “HOLLA!” and then they sent me the bag, towel and beach sarong pictured above. They are really nice folks, those Vera Bradley people.
This was excellent timing because I was headed to Callaway Gardens and do you know what is at Callaway Gardens? A BEACH.
That’s all my stuff at the beach last weekend. And also me wearing the sarong before heading down to our neighborhood pool. I love it because you can tie it six different ways. Six! I typically wear it halter style like that though because I am very modest, unlike that one girl who comes to our pool and changes into her bathing suit IN THE OPEN even though there are changing rooms RIGHT THERE and also she brings her kids already in their swimsuits so I’m just like PUT YOUR SWIMSUIT ON AT HOME, LADY.
(I feel really strongly about her decision to duck behind a tree and change into her swimwear, y’all. I may or may not have made some very loud comments about the inappropriateness of it.)
But I’ll step off my soapbox and tell you that one lucky reader will win a Vera Bradley Beach Set in the “Go Wild” pattern.
(Stop! Collaborate and listen! This is where the FTC says I need to tell you if I am using affiliate links. I’m using affiliate links, y’all, and here is my disclosure.)
The set includes the small mesh tote (which is the same one I have, it really holds a lot) as well as a beach towel and matching sarong.
If you can’t wait to win the giveaway or you just want to take advantage of the sale in a different pattern, you can find all the sale items here.
I’m running this giveaway with rafflecopter (you may need to switch browsers or install Java to see it) because it makes it easy to verify winners. To enter just leave a comment! You can also get additional entries for tweeting/facebooking to share the love.
