Remember when I talked about our Tornado Safety Room? What, you don't remember all the mundane details I write about on this blog? My scrapbook room is currently being packed up and moved into the basement so that it can become the nursery. I don't know why I didn't just set up down there to begin with. For one thing, it's a bigger room. So I'm in the midst of converting half of the Tornado Safety Room to my new scrapbook room/kid's playroom.
This is an excellent idea because now when it storms and I freak out and spend half the night in the basement, I can make pretty things instead of just lying on the floor in the fetal position. And the great part is, my kid won't know that we're actually ducking and covering because hello! Looks like a playroom! She'll just grow up thinking that everyone listens to the National Weather Service on the radio while they play Barbies.
