1) I totally think that other people's sonogram photos are super creepy. I also realize that plenty of people probably think my sonogram photos are creepy as well. Despite this, I still put my sonogram photo on my blog because I am now officially one of those women. Also, I am totally okay with that because ohmygoshpicturesofmybaby!
2) I really want to show y'all a picture of my belly button but I'm afraid that may actually be too creepy.
3) If you follow me on twitter you saw this yesterday but it's worth sharing again. A client of mine asked me if I was having a c-section b/c I'm so small. I told her that I didn't currently plan to. She then proceeded to tell me about how she had an 11+ pound baby that broke her pelvis. She goes on to ask me if I "think I'll be able to get that baby out okay." And I feel awkward and slightly scared stiff so I respond "Um… I hope so…since it's already in there…and stuff." So now I feel really good and confident and not at all freaked out.
4) I no longer believe anyone on I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant. If I didn't think I was pregnant but felt the sorts of things I feel now when this baby moves in my belly, I would be sprinting to the nearest doctor, convinced that I had contracted some sort of disease that makes your organs eat one another.
5) My sweet friends are throwing me a shower so now that we know what we are having, we plan to register this weekend. We were thinking of registering at Babies R Us and Target but we have no clue what we're doing. I read their suggested registries but I'm pretty sure they're just trying to sell me stuff. So I'd love to hear from y'all as to what things you loved, what things we really need and what we can do without!
(I promise I'll post some non-pregnancy stuff next week so that this doesn't become Bump Watch 2010)
