This post brought to you by Upromise by Sallie Mae. All opinions are 100% mine.
We joined Upromise by Sallie Mae when I was pregnant. It was one of the Things To Do To Prepare For Baby on my list, along with Buy A Lot Of Diapers and Learn How To Give Birth.
I coupon a lot for my grocery shopping and since you can earn cash back by using UPromise coupons I did a lot of those and scanned my card each time I was at the grocery store. I love me some cash back, y’all.
Now you can earn cash back from UPromise by shopping online so when they asked me if I’d like to install their RewardU toolbar I said “sure!” because I mean, I already shop online. And y’all know I’m all about extra ways to save money when I’m shopping online. Seriously, before I buy anything online I look to see if I can get a coupon code or cash back.
So I installed the toolbar in Firefox (super easy) and then clicked on their list of stores.
I scrolled down until I found THE ONE.
Target.
5% cash back, y’all.
And a special sale on women’s clearance.
And an additional 20% off women’s clearance shoes.
And free shipping.
I was all in for that.
Then I saw these and I was like “Holla!” because black ballet flats have been on my wishlist for awhile now. Someone who shall remain nameless ate my other pair. (coughcoughLucyDogcoughcough)
Now I have the black ballet flats I was coveting for fall and I got cash back for buying them online.
After all of my discounts and the cash back that I’ll see depostied in my UPromise account from the purchase, they cost me less than $6!
I mean, I just got cute shoes and Scarlette got a little bit of cash to go towards college so we all win. I mean, I win right now because SUCH CUTE SHOES but future Scarlette will be all WINNING when she needs to buy a mathbook that cost two hundred and forty nine dollars and I’m all “Oh, here’s that money mommy got you when she was buying things like groceries and cute shoes.”
