The first day that we house sat for our in-laws this weekend, I opened the back door to see if it was warm enough outside to wear my cute new black ruffled top.
Which in turn set off the alarm.
While my husband was in the shower.
Meaning that I had to rush upstairs to try and turn it off.
Which is hard to do when you are frazzled.
Turned out, I opened the only door that was set to the major alarm.
Did you know that you can't just turn off the alarm if you accidentally set off the major alarm?
I didn't.
I also didn't know that you have to answer the telephone and give them the secret passcode.
Because if you don't, they send the police to your house.
They really shouldn't have an 800 number.
I thought it was a telemarketer.
Calling at a very inconvenient time.
