In 2009 I took a six month break from scrapbooking. No design teams, no submitting but also no making any pages. Now that my scrapbook room is setup, I am ready for 2010 and yesterday was a day of happiness in my inbox:
I found out that I made the Pink Paislee design team. I'm really excited about my role on this team and for the opportunity to work with some of my favorite designers. I had a page picked up by Creating Keepsakes and a sweet friend emailed me to tell me that my Expecting layout made the top ten over at Two Peas (right next to Wilnas!). I wanted to say thank you to those of you who voted for it and for your kind comments on it. It was a very cathartic page to make. Yesterday's emails were the happy kind, indeed.
