I promise to stop talking about my book soon. Like tomorrow, I’m totally going to talk about Scarlette. And that thing she said to our garbage man that completely mortified me. Right.
But today I have very fun things to tell you!
Like how we are throwing a party to celebrate the release of Anchored and if you are in/near the Atlanta area you are invited! I would love to see you there! It’s my birthday and my book’s birthday so we’re partying with cupcakes, coffee and signed copies!
The release party will be held at Foxtale Book Shoppe (which is like the bookstore from You’ve Got Mail – it’s super cute and was voted Best Bookstore in Atlanta) on Saturday, June 27 at 4pm. That’s a few days before the book actually releases so if you want to hang out with us, you can get a copy early! You can get more details and RSVP here.

Anchored reached #1 in it’s category on Amazon in it’s first week! So basically I now totally have something in common with Taylor Swift.
(Okay, so maybe hitting #1 in your book niche isn’t quite the same as hitting #1 on like, every single album chart ever and maybe that’s kind of a stretch but I will take my Taylor Swift comparisons where I can get them, y’all.)
(Plus, it’s pretty much one of the coolest, unexpected things that has ever happened to me.)
