One of my goals for 2015 is to be able to use this space for more good works. I found that over the past year the campaigns that I have enjoyed the most are the ones that let me give back and this one is pretty fun for everyone and helps out a great cause that is close to my heart.
A couple of months ago I partnered with ePantry to give a free gift to anyone who signs up to try their home delivery service for household goods (You can see my full review of the service here.) And this week they are offering another bonus gift + $10 credit + free shipping to my readers but in addition to that (and this is the part I am really excited about) for everyone who signs up using my referral link, ePantry will donate $15 to the cause of my choice.
So for five days, ePantry is offering new customers free shipping, a free Mrs. Meyer’s dish soap and a $10 credit. And instead of putting referral credit in my account, they are donating $15 to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for each person who orders through my link. I chose them as my cause because Scarlette spent over a month in the NICU at CHOA after having surgery there when she was just a few weeks old.
To be honest, of her entire almost six month NICU stay these are the pictures I tend to avoid as our time at CHOA was the most traumatic for me. We were there over over the holidays, I was alone because it was so far from where we live, and Scarlette suffered complications from her surgery that kept her in critical condition for the duration of our stay. It was unbearably hard.
But I also got to witness how amazing the CHOA staff is and how above and beyond they go for their little patients. No one wants to spend the holidays in a children’s hospital but on top of quality care they also brought Christmas cheer to those kids. I’m thrilled to be able to support them.
We use the ePantry service because they offer the natural brands that I like at good prices (they are comparable to Amazon’s Subscribe and Save except they have a referral program so you can earn credit!) and I like that I can set my subscription schedule and adjust my order – I don’t need certain things every month so I like that I can choose every other month or every three months, etc.
But I also really love working with companies that have awesome core values and give back. ePantry also donated to our NICU gift baskets this year so in addition to these beautiful books and gift cards, each family received one of these cute bottles of hand sanitizer.
So here is how you can save on your household items AND help give back to an awesome cause:
Here’s How To Sign Up For Your First ePantry Order:
- Sign up for an account using my referral link here (so they can track for donations!) You’ll see this welcome page when you sign in:
- Answer some simple questions about your family, your product preferences, etc. It took me like, two minutes. ePantry will suggest products, quantities and suggested delivery months based on your families needs but you don’t have to use their suggestions. They’ll give you the option to choose their algorithm’s recommendations as your order or you can choose to just pick all of your own products, which is what I did. I chose my products but followed their recommendations on how often to place each order (so I get toothpaste sent to me less frequently than I get paper towels.)
- Choose the items for your box! My favorites are the Mrs. Meyers Basil Dryer Sheets, the ePantry soy candles, and the Method dish soap. I also REALLY LOVE the Yes To Cucumbers Eye Cream. I don’t get any perks for recommending products or anything, I just really like those. Also, let’s not even talk about the fact that I need to use eye cream now.
- To get $10 off, your order needs to be at least $20 total (plus you can also answer the chat box question for extra credit and you’ll get free shipping!) You don’t need to add the free Mrs. Meyers dish soap – it will be added for you! It defaults to the Rosemary scent but you can change it to whatever you like. I love the basil.
- You get your household items delivered at a great cost, save money and we all worked together to help a great cause! WIN.
(This offer is good for five days only, from January 8 to January 12, 2015 Happy New Year!)
(These are a few things from my last order. I’m telling you these dryer sheets? AMAZING.)
Thank YOU for helping us do this! I am always so happy to be able to use this little platform to give back and y’all have been so generous in your support of our NICU giving initiatives every year (Here’s a look at our NICU gift baskets that we put together with your help) and I am so excited to partner with ePantry to be able to offer you a little gift + savings for helping us give!
(I was not compensated for this post, it’s just a cause close to my heart!)
