(Alternate title: The One With All The Hyperlinks. Who are my FRIENDS lovers?!)
Some things I want to share:
Love: You. Thank for sharing your suggestions about Scarlette with me. I took some of them to our doctor and the specialist believes we may have found an answer. We are praying for the distention in her belly to go down significantly so that we can try it. Thank you for faithfully praying for our sweet, brave little girl.
Thoughts: Being in this place is weird, the odd juxtaposition between the days where I am living and the days where I am existing. They that sow in tears shall reap in joy -Psalm 126:5
Moved: My sweet friend Becca had that necklace made for me by Lisa Leonard. I opened it the day Scarlette turned 3 months old and it was the highlight of my day. I don't foresee it ever leaving my neck.
Sites: Bloglovin. Why did I not know about this? I love this site, it's much better than google reader for keeping blogs organized. Speaking of blogs, I'd like to add some more to my new reader so if you have one, leave a link in the comments so I can visit! Also, Pinterest. I think it is an amazing and inspirational idea, plus I love keeping visual bookmarks.
Reads: I am reading a lot because A) there is not much else to do sitting in the NICU all day long with sketchy hospital wi-fi and B) my mother got me a Kindle and gift card for Christmas (thanks mom!) One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp. This is hands down one of the best books I've read in the last 5 years. Also, my friend Jess is launching an online bookclub at (in)courage with this book so it's a great time to get it and talk about it. I sincerely hope to find some time to join in the discussions. A Million Miles In A Thousand Years by Donald Miller. Such a motivating and refreshing read. It's less heavy and still incredibly moving.
(P.S) Encouragement: Tiffani has been my best friend since our freshman year of high school. She's the one who kept y'all updated while I was in the hospital and one of the deepest loves of my life. I helped her start her own blog and so I'd love it if y'all would swing by and leave her a comment! I think it would be fun and encouraging to surprise her with some unexpected visitors! Tiff's blog!
