So here’s what’s new around here:
BABY: She’s sitting up! This is one of the areas where she’s been behind because she couldn’t support her weight on her broken wrists and then once they healed she was still too afraid to try. Now she’s my little weeble wobble. Also, as soon as she has just a little more hair, I’m going to stick a bow right on that little Cindy-Lou-Who curl.
J+KA: We left Scarlette overnight for the first time. Jeff and I went down to Callaway Gardens for a romantic weekend away. And by romantic, I mean we slept in until ten. It was amazing. Never mind that I woke up in a 4am sleep panic all “WHERE’S MY BABY?!”

HAIR: The appointment is made. I am going to be blonde again. Now the question is: to cut or not to cut? I looked back over some of my short, medium, long pictures as a blonde and I can not decide. Thoughts? Also, this montage is super professional looking.
I LOVE TECHNOLOGY ALWAYS AND FOREVER: Jeff and I have been sharing one of those pay-as-you-go phones with no features like it’s 1993 up in here. Today we ditched the Zach Morris phone for smart phones. Do you want to know what I am most excited about? Taking pictures of Scarlette. In related news: I have no idea how to take a screenshot of text messages so I shall transcribe the following texts between me and my sister for you:
KA: I am 100% certain that I am currently behind Steve from Blues’s Clues.
MS: Roll down your window and yell “MAIL CAAALLLL!!!” at him and see what he does.
KA: Texting while driving kills, yo. I am standing in line at the bank. I’ll start softly humming the Blues’s Clues theme song and see what happens.
MS: Probably the tellers are going to be like “what is that middle school girl doing at the bank and how did she get here?”
