My friends Jessica and Amy introduced me to ePantry a couple of months ago but I was really hesitant to try it out. For one thing I already used The Honest Company’s subscription service for some household items and really liked it. For another, I just didn’t think that it would be less expensive than buying items like paper towels and toothpaste and stuff that I needed at the store.
But then Amy gave me an ePantry promo code for free $10 credit to try it out and I am all about trying things for free and since they offered all-natural brands that I like to use I signed up. I figured I was at least going to get $10 of free household supplies, you know? And I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was cost-efficient and just a really great household management tool.
I placed an order and when it came I took some pictures to share with y’all because I really enjoyed using the service, I thought it was convenient and I also just loved the company’s mission.
A few days later they contacted me about offering a special deal for my blog readers who haven’t tried the service before! They offered to give my readers a free $10 credit to try out the service AND free shipping AND they said I could choose any full-sized item as a free give away for each of you that places an order! I chose a full-sized bottle of Method Body Wash because I love it and thought that would be a fun free gift!
So if you sign up for the first time using my referral link here, you’ll get a $10 credit to spend + they will add a full size bottle of Method Body Wash to your order.
So I should really wash those windows in my bathroom, huh?
The thing that I love most about them that I don’t love about other subscription services is that I don’t have to sign up for a delivery every month. I can choose every other month or every three months. Or I can set certain products to deliver every month and others every 3 months, depending on how often I need to replenish them. It is similar to Amazon’s Subscribe & Save program and when I priced it out most items were the same or a little bit less in price, but the referral system gives it a bit of an edge for me. You’ll get an email a week before your next shipment is scheduled so you can go in and adjust your order or choose to move your shipment.
I also like that they have an instant help chat feature – I really appreciate companies that can answer my question right away when I have an question about an order I am trying to place and don’t make me languish on the phone for hours like a certain cable company I could mention. Plus, they always have a fun thing where you can answer a fun question such as “What is your favorite book?” to get a bonus coupon code for your order. It’s just a nice little touch.
They had initially offered to give me a free credit to shop with them and write this post but I asked them if instead they would be willing to put that amount towards a donation for my NICU gift baskets for this year. In case you are new here, every year at Christmastime we put together a care package for each family in the NICU unit that my daughter spent six months in, because it is really hard to be in the hospital over the holidays. And ePantry went above and beyond and offered to donate enough bottles of the Method hand sanitizer for our entire unit. I was really touched by their generosity. And how cute will these be in our gift baskets this year?
How ePantry Works
Step 1: Sign up for ePantry using my referral link – you’ll get a free $10 credit + a free Method body wash and free shipping! (This is an exclusive offer for my blog readers that is only available until Friday the 21st, 6PM PST – Aren’t you so glad that you read my blog right now? I am too. I mean, I’m pretty much always glad that you read it so that I’m not sitting here just talking to myself all the time and stuff.)
Step 2: You’ll be given a list of questions to answer about what products like you best, how many people are in your family, that sort of thing. It took me like, two minutes. I did it while I was waiting for my coffee to brew. ePantry will suggest products, quantities and suggested delivery months based on your families needs but you don’t have to use their suggestions. They’ll give you the option to choose their algorithm’s recommendations as your order or you can choose to just pick all of your own products, which is what I did. I chose my products but followed their recommendations on how often to place each order (so I get toothpaste sent to me less frequently than I get paper towels.)
Step 3: To get $10 off, your order needs to be at least $20 total (plus you can also answer the chat box question for extra credit and you’ll get free shipping!)
Step 4: BOOM. You’re done. Just checkout and your shipping is free!
(Optional Step 5: Get your own referral link in your My Account tab and share it with friends and family so that you can earn ePantry credit as well! I love sites that offer referral credit because it is so helpful to our household budget and allows me to be more generous in my giving – personal care products are always needed at donation centers!)
My Favorite ePantry Products
I have placed two orders so far and I have a few recommendations of my favorite products – first I would definitely add a soy ePantry mason jar candle to your order if you are a candle lover. I have had a lot of gatherings at my house lately between birthdays and MOPS stuff and everyone always raves about that candle. I am planning to add these to our teacher gifts this year. I am planning on ordering the maple one next because it’s fall y’all. I also really love the Method Body Wash in Olive Leaf. I was so excited when they said they could do that as a freebie because I felt like that was kind of a big thing for me to ask them to giveaway! And if you have really thick hair like I do, the Yes To Cucumbers Shampoo and Conditioner is fantastic. This is one of those products that I can rarely find coupons for and is pricey in stores, and hit or miss on who carries it.
I did not like the Method dishwasher tablets at all so I would steer clear of those. So far they’ve been my only thumbs-down product.
(Here is a picture from their site of some of the brands they carry)
ePantry is a small company out of California that believes in making all-natural products affordable, accessible and available on your schedule, so that you’re not running to the store to grab something you are out of only to find they don’t have exactly what you want and end up spending more than you want to on a different brand. They also carbon-offset all of their packages, which means they take a portion of the proceeds from each shipment and donates it to renewable energy projects like wind turbines.
And for every shipment that they send out they donate to the Arbor Day Foundation to save 25 square feet of rainforest from deforestation. Plus the fantastic customer service, this is a company I can really get behind, y’all.
Disclosure: This post is not sponsored, but does include my referral link, which means that I will earn credit if you use it. I appreciate that because it’s little savings like that that help support this site and allow me to give back.
