This is one of my favorite hymns and lately it’s taken on a bit of a new meaning in our house as I work my way through reading a lot about grace-based parenting. I know it probably totally surprises you that I tend to be a little bit of an over-reactor given my past track record of being super laid-back and logical and not at all neurotic.
And it’s not as though my house is filled with scenarios designed to test my patience like I’m on some sort of hidden camera game show or anything.
Like how if you decide to have your morning coffee in a travel mug and then leave said coffee unattended on your nightstand, you might come back to find that your four year old has dropped all of your bobby pins into the little hole on top of the lid. And you might make this discovery when you go to take a sip of coffee and CHOKE ON A BOBBY PIN.
I definitely was super filled with grace and did not overreact to that particular situation. Except the opposite of that.
Anyhow, my friend and MOPS mentor mom Maria writes a collaborative blog called Middle Places and she designed this free printable for me to share with y’all!
