You’re probably thinking to yourself “Self, why is her baby fully dressed in the bathtub?” and that is because A) our no nekky baby on the internet rule and B) no actual bathing is happening in this house where smiling occurs at the same time.
.
Scarlette is currently protesting bath time and will only get in the bathtub if I get it in with her. And seeing as I’ve referenced her tendency to mistake “bath time” for “potty time” you can see my reluctance in this, right? So I love that our Boon Inc. Ladybug Bath Pod has a built in shelf so I can keep Scarlette’s shampoo and bubble bath off of the sides of our bathtub but easily within reach during bath time. I’m all “WASH YOUR BODY, WASH YOUR BODY, MAKE SURE YOU DON’T HURT POTTY ON NOBODY!” before tossing her hurriedly at Jeff.

When Boon emailed me to ask if they could send me one of their bath pods to review I had to say “no thank you” but not because I didn’t want one. I turned it down because we already own one! I’ve written before about my love of Boon Inc. products. I think they are beautifully and ingeniously designed with ease of use and functionality in mind. I bought the ladybug bath pod for Scarlette over a year ago and it has stuck snugly to our bathroom wall ever since. Recently I moved it down to the actual bathtub because she likes reaching into it. And because I’m trying to entice her to TAKE A BATH. She’s totally fine with being in the shower so I have no idea what is going on here.
So then they emailed me back and said “Would you like to give one away to your readers?” and I was all “Well, I am very picky about my giveaways but YES!” Because I think one of y’all would like this as much as we do.
First of all, it’s really cute. Second of all, it drains really well and we’ve never had a single mold/mildew/smelly problem with our toys. Third of all, it’s really cute. And it doesn’t fall off the wall in the middle of the night and scare the bejeebies out of you like some other bath toy holders I could mention that coincidentally don’t live in our house anymore.
Boon just released a new bath pod in the shape of a whale and they’re giving one of them away to one of my readers! Probably all of my pregnant friends should enter this one because it’s one of those things you don’t think about until after you give your kid a bath for the first time and excitedly fill throw all of your fun bath toys in the bathtub. And then you drain the water and you think to yourself “Self, what do I do with all of these bath toys?” Enter bath pod.
I’m running this giveaway with rafflecopter so please be sure to click the I DID THIS button after leaving a comment letting me know why YOU would like to win (to give as an awesome shower gift? because you are over run with bath toys? because your current bath toy holder keeps falling off the wall in the middle of the night and scaring the bejeebies out of you?) – if you aren’t running javascript and can’t see the giveaway, please note that in your comment and I will manually enter you.
