I wish I'd taken a picture of myself yesterday. I went to play Bunco with my mother-in-law and her friends and so I dressed up really cute. And put on big girl makeup so that I'd not look like a teenager. I mean, I put on foundation and eyeliner people. My cute new Anthropologie shirt. The sweet scarf I bought from Target to make up for buying a shirt from Anthropologie. I put a lot of time into getting ready.
I was in the room for approximately three minutes when one of the women announced that we were short a player.
"Oh no, my mother in law assured her, this is my daughter-in-law who is playing with us"
The lady looked me over and said, "Oh I'm sorry. I thought you were a 12 year old kid."
Sigh.
Here's what I don't understand.
Why do people SAY it? I totally get thinking it. But why must they say it outloud? And what is the proper response to that? I mean, I normally just stand there looking awkward.
In other news, my online photo editing class starts today! There is still time to register, although not much, so if you want to check it out then visit the classroom to learn more!
