Random little bits and pieces of life this week:
Scarlette: just started laughing at Jeff when he plays peekaboo with her.
American Idol: I'm rooting for hometown girl Lauren Alaina. She reminds me of Natalie Maines. Who are y'all hoping takes it?
Book reviews: Reading is one of my greatest loves and so I decided to join the book club at BlogHer. Which is super great because I also really like writing book reviews. I maybe like hearing myself talk too much :/ I just reviewed Girl In Translation, which was one of the best fiction novels I've read so far in 2011.
Get published: We're doing a free series over at little light studio on how to get published in craft/scrapbook magazines. We have some fun tips & tricks as well as advice from some editors so if you've been wanting to break in to the biz as they say (okay, I don't know who actually says that) then stop by!
Sparkling blueberry juice: from Trader Joes. It's delicious. If you put it in sweet tea, it tastes like blueberry sweet tea from a restaurant. It's fantastic. Also, it takes very little for me to get excited these days. I'm all blueberry sweet tea!!
Blacklisted: you know that episode of Seinfeld where Elaine gets blacklisted by all the doctor's in the city and they all write on her chart about how difficult she is? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's me. It's not that I'm difficult. It's that…well, okay I've been kind of difficult. But seriously, we went to the specialist this week and there was a note in the chart about me. Seriously. (P.S. I'm not mean, I'm just incredibly insistent when it comes to Scarlette's medical care.)
