Party Like It's My Birthday! Free Gifts For YOU!

I turned 32 on Saturday. I originally typed that as 23, which is how I feel until I walk into Forever 21 and am all, “Oh right, I’ve already lived through daisy patterned crop-tops as fashion statement once in my life and thus I am likely too old to be in here right now.”

(And then I’m like “Ooooooh, $7 skinny jeans!” and wrangle my stroller into the dressing room.)

Speaking of gifts, my husband took Scarlette shopping to pick me out something for my birthday. I was fully expecting to be the recipient of something FROZEN themed but J said she was emphatic that she wanted to buy me a candle and came home with this cute little candle in a patterned bowl. Called “Sweet Sangria.” This is either evidence that I am totally nailing parenting or a direct result of all the time I spend lingering in the candle aisle at Target.

(J got me these anchor bookends because I might be a little bit excited about displaying my book in our house.)
