My friend Amy of Amy Tangerine (she who makes all of Scarlette’s cute embroidered shirts) has a scrapbooking line with American Crafts. She sent me some goodies from her previous collection to play with + I ordered some because you know, I totally have space for more scrapbooking stuff. Except that I don’t and so no one tell Jeff. Also, don’t look at the mess in my guest room now, okaythanksbye.
So I made this page for week twenty six of Project Life with all of it. Which means that I am so back on track. I am happy with this page because I am intimidated by color but Amy’s papers + elements were really perfect to coordinate with Scarlette’s new dress. The one that is way too big but also too cute to return because it was on clearance and she’ll totally grow into it, right?
I added some ephemera from the week, like our trip to Starbucks and the tags off her tiny new jammies that are still too-big for her and a scan of a page from her current favorite board book Alice In Wonderland (complete with a quote from one of my favorite books, Jane Eyre.) And of course, no scrapbook page is complete without a line from the classic musical piece “Umbrella.” When the sun shines, we’ll shine together, y’all. (Also, visit my friend Jess’s Project Life Tuesday linky to see lots of PL inspiration)
Amy has a new line called Amy Tangerine Ready, Set Go which is all navy blues and pinks and cuteness. So today I’m participating in her blog hop to debut the new line. Each stop on the blog hop will preview a new portion of the line (<- like my peek over there and at the new daybook) and at the end of the blog hop you can enter for two chances to win the entire Ready, Set, Go! collection (seriously, the whole thing!)
