Y’all. I’ve mentioned before how I save money by shopping online with Ebates.com so that I can earn cash back on my purchases. And because Ebates typically has coupons available for just about any store I want to shop at and you know how I feel about coupons. But there are other ways you can make money using Ebates without even shopping that are SUPER easy I want to share with you!
Since they are one of the sites that I use frequently (read: all the time), I emailed them to see if they were interested in partnering with me for this special week of giveaways. And then I about fell over when they offered to give a $100 to one lucky reader! I maybe love them even more for being willing to do something so fun for my readers! How To Use Ebates
First, visit Ebates.com and sign in. If you aren’t a member, you can sign up for free here (Ebates is totally free by the way) and when you make your first $25 purchase through them, you’ll receive a $10 gift card!
Then choose from the list what store you are wanting to shop at that day, like say…Target! There are thousands of stores to choose from, I just sort of love Target.
When you click on the store name, you’ll see the amount of cash back you’ll get from shopping at that store plus a list of exclusive coupon codes you can use at each store!
It’s so easy and so helpful. When Scarlette came home from the hospital our washing machine died and we had to order a new one. I went through Ebates to order one from Lowe’s and got free shipping + a coupon code + cash back which saved us a good bit. Which is great because pretty much the worst time ever for your washing machine to die is when you have a newborn in cloth diapers.
The holidays are a great time to use Ebates because they have normally have double and triple cash back in November (I’ve gotten gifts at Snapfish with 20% cash back!). That coupled with deep discounts over Black Friday/Cyber Monday is potential for huge savings. You can even get cash back at some of Amazon’s departments! I am such a fan girl. I do all of my online Christmas shopping through Ebates every year.
Here is an example of one of the best deals I found on Ebates: The Body Shop (which is one of my favorite stores, I used to work there over the holiday season in college and if you wanted to get me some cranberry body wash I would not say not to that) was offering 10% cash back, plus a coupon for 40% off your purchase. This is what it looks like when you are logged in (except that I removed the coupon code since it’s for members only)
How To Make Money With Ebates
1.) Shop Cash Back. Just find the store you want to shop at in Ebates directory, click on the link, and you’ll be redirected to the store you want to shop at. Once you’ve made your purchase, your cash back percentage will be deposited in your Ebates account. And every quarter, Ebates sends you a payment via paypal or check! It’s great because if you were planning on shopping online anyhow, all you have to do is click one extra link and you get cash back for it.
2.) Earn Referral Credit. You can also earn cash bonuses if you share your Ebates referral link with friends. I earned referral bonuses when I first joined because I emailed most of my girlfriends about the site and now we all use it. My mother called me all excited when she got her first cash back payment. That’s so cute.
My ebates referral link is used in this post so if you use it and make a purchase of $25 or more, you get a $10 gift card and I get a bonus!
The more friends you refer, the more cash rewards you earn:
Refer 3 friends, get an extra $30
Refer 10 friends, get an extra $100
Refer 25 friends, get an extra $250
That is a lot of potential for extra income! Share your excitement about Ebates using your referral link on your blog or social media channels, like Facebook. Around the holidays I usually make a quick post on Facebook and tweet out a reminder to shop through Ebates!
3.) Install The App. Ebates now has an app so that you can easily shop and earn both online and with in-store coupons as well as share great deals with your friends via your referral link all from your phone!
