I am constantly asked where I get Scarlette’s headbands from. My very talented friend Martha makes them! I was so happy when she opened her Etsy shop, Little Boo & Pie, because her headbands are cute, original, great quality and about half the price of flowered-y headbands I’ve seen elsewhere. She made Scarlette all of the headbands pictured above, the little tunic dress she is wearing in the left photo as well as the beautiful birthday crown she is wearing in the center photo. I told you she was talented. And also that I have a bit of a headband addiction. Which is why I love that Martha’s don’t break the bank. And by “I” I mean “Jeff.”
Martha is a new mom to a little girl she and her husband adopted last year, she blogs about their journey at MugsyBoo and you should watch their adoption video with some tissues handy. Fair warning.
I met Martha a few years ago when we both designed for the same scrapbooking company and not only is she incredibly talented (seriously, I was humbled to be on the same team as her because I have no where near her level of design talent) but she is kind and funny- really funny. But mostly I want to support her shop because she is like me: a mom who waited a long time for her daughter.
(And because I’m a work-at-home mom too so supporting small, mom-based businesses is important to me.)
