One Shirt, Three Ways (+ A $100 Visa Gift Card Giveaway)

Tide asked me to put together an outfit that could be styled 3 different ways in homage to their 3-in-1 Tide Pods and I thought that sounded like a fun challenge until I realized that there is a reason I am not a fashion blogger and that reason is because remember how I sort of accidentally-on-purpose donated all my clothes last year? I looked in my closet and realized I am working with a very limited wardrobe here, people. And also because I look awkward in selfies. California Wine Club | $50 Gift Card Giveaway

california wine club

For Christmas this year the wine lovers on my list are getting a month's membership to California Wine Club. When I was approached with the opportunity to work with them, I was all YES PLEASE because A) I love wine and B) I knew I would be gifting wine to some wine aficionados and since I don't actually know the anything about good wines I figured this would be a good education for me. The wines come with a little magazine that tell all about the winery, the wines themselves and ideas of food to pair them with. If you love wine or if you'd like to gift some wine this holiday season, then click keep reading to enter to win a $50 gift card to … [Read more...]

REVIEW: California Wine Club

california wine club

I'm not a heavy drinker- I don't like beer and being allergic to citrus severely limits the mixed drinks I can have. So I typically stick to wine. And like Taylor Swift, my preference is red. That girl and I have all sorts of things in common. I decided to try out  California Wine Club because, well, I like wine. I mean, that's really all there is to it. I'll be writing two posts about their wine, the second of which will include a giveaway so that one of y'all can try their wine for yourself! The first bottle I opened was a 2009 Tempranillo. I know nothing about that, I just know that it was red and it wasn't two buck chuck. I have no idea … [Read more...]

Remington 4 Series Electic Shavers (aka Stuff Jeff Likes)

This post brought to you by Remington Hair Removal. All opinions are 100% mine. Last year for Christmas Jeff received a Remington 4 Series Rotary Shaver from my mother and he loves it. That's why I agreed to write about it, because it's something we use in our daily lives. And by "we" I do actually mean we because I use the popup trimmer to detail the sides and back of his hair. I mean, it's meant for sideburns but it totally works for that too. Have I ever mentioned that I cut Jeff's hair? Yeah. That is how we roll. The Remington 4 Series Electric Shavers include the Foil Shaver (which has surgical steel blades … [Read more...]

Cream Cheese & Honey Nut Apple Snacks

*Cream Cheese & Honey Nut Apple Snacks with Kraft Foods

This post brought to you by Kraft Foods. All opinions are 100% mine. Each week I make a meal plan and I *try* to stick to it. I keep an "easy recipes" board on Pinterest for quick and easy ideas on the nights where cooking does not appeal to me. Which, granted, is most nights but you know what I mean. Kraft has a new site called Kraft Foods Everyday Delicious where they post recipes to coordinate with their products, raning from full meals to easy lunch packing ideas. They asked me to try out a recipe from the site and I went with something quick easy, because that is totally my M.O. in the kitchen. I liked that I could … [Read more...]

REVIEW: Leapfrog Animal Adventures Learning Table

LeapFrog Animal Adventures Learning Table

Thank you to LeapFrog for sponsoring this review. For more information about the LeapFrog Animal Adventure Learning Table, please visit their website. #LFAnimalAdv #spon         Scarlette likes to hover near my legs while I am cooking, winding herself between my legs and generally causing chaos during food prep. So the kitchen is where I set the LeapFrog Animal Adventures Learning Table up, to entice her away from the stove. And also the bag of chocolate chips that she discovered and made off with. She's stealthy, that one. The other day I found her in her excersaucer holding a carton of ranch dressing. I PUT her in … [Read more...]

Favorite Things | Home + A $50 Gift Card To DaySpring

dayspring product review by kaylaaimee

There are sprinklers and ring toss games and sidewalk chalk stored in a basket near the back porch but who needs outside toys when you can open a pretty umbrella and pretend that you are Mary Poppins? Or stack all of your baby blocks and then ever so carefully toss them through the railing one by one? I place a lot of orders with for our home but also for gifts because I think they have one of the best collections of faith-themed home decor products around. Non-cheesy faith-themed products that is :) So this month I teamed up with them for a few exclusive reader discounts + a giveaway. Click CONTINUE READING to get the coupon … [Read more...]

Take it Easy with Flood Wood Care

This post brought to you by Flood Wood Care. All opinions are 100% mine. You can probably guess from the backdrop of the majority of my photos that we spend a LOT of time on our back deck. It's just the right size for a certain tiny someone to take a stroll with Baby Elmo or chase Lucy Dog around in circles. And for us grown-up people, well, we have a pretty spectacular view. I have to give Jeff all of the credit here and concede that he was right and I was wrong.<- You will not see THAT in writing often. Because when we moved into this house the deck, although not old, was in a state of disrepair. And he put in all of the elbow grease … [Read more...]

She Can Run | Team Mom Everyday Victories

Thank you to P&G and Kroger stores for celebrating “Team Mom’s Everyday Victories”! Please visit the P&G's event page to play games, win money off your next Kroger trip and more fun! I close the trunk and wrangle the baby out of the shopping cart, where somehow she's managed to get her shoes stuck inside the seat cover. A final yank frees it from the cart and sends a shower of half-crunched cheerios smattering across the parking lot. She cries as I buckle her into her car seat, pointing sadly at the lost snack and sniffling "eat, eat!" for most of the drive home. Halfway there I realize I forgot to buy baby wipes, which is written … [Read more...]
