This is what Scarlettte does every time she sees our puppy Lucy. For the record since she is out of the frame, Lucy is just laying there not moving. I find this hilarious. Scarlette will get distracted by something like her book and then look up and see Lucy again and shriek with delight. Over and over and over. And over.
“OH LOOK! THE PUPPY! THE PUPPY IS STILL HERE! THAT IS SO FUNNY! Oh, here are my cups, cups are nice, I like these cups THE PUPPY! I SEE THE PUPPY AGAIN! SHE’S LAYING ON THE GROUND! THAT IS SO HILARIOUS! NOTHING IS FUNNIER THAN THAT PUPPY! Oh look, here’s a book. Maybe I’ll pick it up and chew on it. Books are kind of… THE PUPPY! I FOUND HER! I FOUND HER IN THE SAME SPOT SHE WAS IN TEN SECONDS AGO! THIS IS CRACKING ME UP!”
Also, please note her pointedly ignoring my attempts to engage her with bubbles. And so it begins.
