– Tomorrow my baby will be ten months old. Wow.
– I have no idea why people use the phrase “I slept like a baby.” Have they ever seen my baby sleep? No really, have they? Because I’m not entirely convinced that she sleeps so much as closes her eyes and fakes it until she’s sure I’ve fallen asleep. And then decides it’s playtime.
– I was ordering something over the phone the other day and when it came time to pay the lady asked “What kind of card will you be using?” And I said, “Um, a Mazda?” and sincerely could not understand why she needed to know what I drove.
– The comments on this post were the funniest things I’ve ever read. I woke up the next morning to find 93 comments in my spam filter. My favorite being from “Sven” which read “Thank you very much, you’ve solved all my problems.” Obviously. What problems DOESN’T my blog solve?
– I went to pick up more sea salt caramel hot chocolate from Target and they were SOLD OUT. That is what I get for sharing my awesome finds with the internet. What, you don’t think my blog is big enough to cause stores to sell out of product a la Oprah? It solved all of Sven’s problems didn’t it?
And now I need some advice: Scarlette is doing so well with her rice cereal that the GI Specialist decided that instead of waiting two more months, we could go ahead and add a tablespoon of vegetables to her diet. We have pretty strict rules to follow but I’d love some advice on making your own baby food. I had planned to make her food but hadn’t read up a lot on it since we had awhile to go yet. And I wasn’t opposed to grabbing a jar of food every now and again either, but Dr. M said no jar food.
SO now I need to quickly learn everything there is to know about making your own baby food before the feeding therapist comes to observe her this week. I’d like to get an all in one steamer/processor if you have a recommendation (feel free to leave your amazon link, I’d love one of y’all to get the credit.) We’re so excited about this, it’s a big step!
