My life is all about sweet potatoes right now. Scarlette was able to have her first bites of baby food and we were allowed to choose between those and squash. We have a really strict list of feeding rules, she can only have 1 tablespoon per day of certain homemade veggies in a very specific order. And she has to eat one veggie at a time for seven days straight. I felt fairly confident that I wouldn’t ruin sweet potatoes and so we went with them. I would call it a success. And a mess. I’m not sure that bib is really serving it’s purpose. And also, my baby is still pretty bald.
Have I mentioned how much I like having a camera on my new cell phone? I still love technology, always and forever.
Since I bought way more sweet potatoes than I needed because I am terrible at estimating (and as it turns out, you can get a LOT of 1 tablespoon servings out of a single sweet potato) I made biscuits. I never share recipes here. Mostly because an inordinate amount of my attempts at cooking end up setting off the smoke detector. But Shawnie taught me how to make sweet potato biscuits and Y’ALL. They are so good. I printed them up on a cute recipe card so you can just print, cut, fold and make really delicious biscuits.

I also made a printable PDF with two blank 5×6 recipe cards on it that you can download here
