(They took off her tubes/tape for cleaning so I snapped some pictures! She looks just like her daddy!)
1) Jeff is freaking out watching a birth video on TLC. This is the same man who walked the wrong way around the curtain during my c-section and was totally not phased by seeing lots of things no one should ever see unless they are a doctor.
2) I found my first gray hair this week. This is really going to throw off all the people who think I'm 15.
3) I know I said I would update about what had transpired this week but every time I sat down to write I couldn't do it. And I realized that I can't. It was one of the most traumatic moments of this entire experience for me and I can't bear to remember it, let alone relive it through typing it out. I am grateful for your faithful love and prayers, and for the kindness of strangers who held me outside the NICU while I shook with sobbing screams. I will never forget how very good people were to me in one of the scariest situations of my life. (I will begin answering the Q/A from the last post next week though.)
4) Scarlette is big enough now to have music playing in her room. I took in some beautiful, soothing CDs for her. I went in the other day and the nurse was playing her some Journey. Don't stop believin', Scarlette. Don't stop believin.
5) I need more laughter in my life. Tell me something funny 🙂
