1) We run out of dishwasher detergent so Jeff decides to substitute regular dish soap. Kitchen fills with bubbles. I'm rather sad this occured during a time that I was forbidden to slide around in said bubbles in my socks.
2) I dream about food. Recently, I had an entire dream that consisted of nothing but me eating a massive plate of extra crispy bacon.
3) I discover I am no longer able to watch A Baby Story on TLC. This is because TLC is sadistic and only airs episodes of women screaming in unfathomable pain. I'm currently in denial about the whole "labor" thing even though the doctor assured me that I can, in fact, fit a baby through there. I do not believe him.
4) I begin reading a book about photography. The photo accompanying the text is of an elderly woman, sitting topless in a chair wearing nothing but a pair of granny panties. The subtitle talks about the photographer and how the woman in the photo is his mother. I can not get past this in order to learn more about f-stops.
P.S. If you don't read in a reader, you'll notice I added another ad bar to the left. I've declined the option to do that for the last year but after being out of work for nearly two months, I feel as though I need to take every opportunity possible to contribute to my family's finances, however small, while we prepare for baby. I'm not sure if it will be a permanant change or not but I wanted to acknowledge it and say thank you for for being a part of blessing my family in so many ways.
