A collection of random things from the week
- I've had a few emails/comments about our paint colors. Thanks for the compliments on our home! The paint is Valspar from Lowes. The dark wall in the living room is called Safari Beige and the lighter walls are called Oatbran.
- I just had to yell at some of the local high schoolers. They were messing with my signs at work. So I marched down there and told them what was what. I'm very feisty when it comes to my signs. I don't carry those heavy suckers all the way out to the road every day just to have some brat toss them in the street.
- The high schoolers were all bigger than me. I bet they were wondering why some random little kid was yelling at them.
- Someone left this comment on my blog: adf commented on Dating Horror Stories Volume One "I wait a month before I kiss a guy." What are you twelve? Um, no. What I am is A) facetious and B) facetious. But thanks for playing.
- My grandmother gave us a Himalayan salt rock lamp for Christmas and it is seriously amazing. Does anyone else have one of these?
- I really like my skinny cords but am still not sure they look good on me due to the fact that I am outrageously bow legged. I think they very much emphasize this fact.
- Thanks for the love on the announcement of Little Light Studio! We are so excited about the classes we have lined up and the new class format. If you are interested in teaching a class, shoot me an email at ka@kaylaaimee.com.
- I keep looking out the window because I'm worried those kids I yelled at will key my car.
- My car has deep gouges in the side of it from the time I hit the steel cables in the campus parking garage. I'm not sure anyone would even notice if someone keyed it. I like to tell people that those gouges are from Wolverine. That makes things very awkward.
- We were watching Worst Cooks In America and Jeff said "Hey you could be on this show! Your chicken soup was terrible!" He really does love me folks. And he's right about my chicken soup. Apparently, chicken and water does not chicken soup make.
