Remember that time I got a new cell phone and cell phone plan with Walmart Family Mobile to try out as part of a sponsored post series with Collective Bias? Well, it’s been a little over a month since I’ve had my new phone and cheap wireless plan and since I’ve been traveling a lot over the past few weeks I have been using it like crazy. See?
That was a really great day, y’all.
And I attended a blog conference and the one thing I learned about blog conferences is that you tweet A LOT. And instagram. You instagram a lot too. So much that the person photographing the blog conference can’t get a picture of you without your phone in it.
But really my new phone was invaluable when I was away on work trips. Not only was I able to work right from my phone, my sweet husband kept me up to date on Scarlette news by texting me videos and pictures while I was gone.

But the best thing I have to say about the phone is that I get great coverage. Seriously, recently we were at my in-laws for a get-together and no one gets service at their house. Like, we were standing around with our cellphones and all chatting about how no one can get service there but I was all “I CAN! I TOTALLY HAVE SERVICE RIGHT NOW, Y’ALL!” because I did and that is crazy. My cheap wireless plan had the best coverage, which really appealed to my frugal self.
So there is my little update, I’m still really happy that I made the switch, especially when my phone alerted me to my first bill and it was SO MUCH LESS than my old plan. Which meant I could get one of the cute tops in that previous picture. I think we can all agree that I made the right call there PUN TOTALLY INTENDED. Plus, Scarlette starts her two year preschool next month thanks to all the money we are saving so yay for #FamilyMobileSaves!
